Once the scope and price are approved, the crew can handle the lifting and loading included in the agreed job. Keep anything that should stay in a separate, clearly marked area. If an item contains chemicals, fuel, pressurized material, refrigerant, batteries, or other regulated components, mention that before the visit.

Before the crew arrives
- Mark the removal items. Use painter’s tape or group items together so there is no confusion.
- Protect personal information. Remove documents and wipe data from computers or smart devices.
- Clear the route. Move pets, vehicles, loose rugs, and small obstacles away from the work path.
- Flag special conditions. Point out stairs, damaged flooring, pests, sharp material, or anything connected to utilities.
